Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how billing, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refunds work for paid RemoteAI subscriptions. It forms part of our Terms of Service. All paid plans are billed in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay and are inclusive of 18% GST.
2. Plans & Pricing
Our paid subscription tiers are:
- Pro — ₹799/month, or ₹639/month when billed annually (inclusive of 18% GST)
- Business — ₹2,499/month base, including 5 seats, plus ₹400/month per additional seat (inclusive of 18% GST)
A GST tax invoice is issued for every successful payment and is available from the Billing section of your account.
3. Auto-Renewal
Paid subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) using your saved payment method, so your service continues without interruption. You will be charged the then-current price for your plan, plus applicable taxes, on each renewal date until you cancel.
4. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time, with no cancellation fee
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we do not immediately terminate paid access
- You retain full access to your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for
- At the end of that period, your account reverts to the Free plan; it is not deleted
- Cancel anytime from the Billing section of your account, or by emailing support@remoteai.pro
5. Refunds
Because cancellation lets you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, we generally do not provide pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period. However, we honour refunds in the following cases:
- Duplicate charges — you were billed more than once for the same subscription period
- Billing errors — you were charged an incorrect amount, charged after a valid cancellation, or charged for a plan you did not authorise
- Failed service — a payment succeeded but the corresponding paid subscription was not activated on your account
Eligible refund requests must be raised within 7 days of the charge. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay and typically settle within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Any applicable GST is refunded together with the principal amount.
6. How to Request a Refund
You can request a refund in either of two ways:
- From the Billing section of your account, where recent charges and invoices are listed
- By emailing support@remoteai.pro with your account email and the transaction or invoice reference
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and to resolve them within 7 business days.
7. Free Trial
A one-time 14-day free trial of Pro is available to each account. You are not charged during the trial. If you do not subscribe, the account simply reverts to the Free plan when the trial ends — no payment is taken and no refund is required.
8. Consumer Rights
This policy is offered in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights. Refund and cancellation disputes are subject to the Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If you are not satisfied with the resolution of a billing complaint, you may pursue the remedies available to you under that Act. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
