Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

RemoteAI gives you the ability to remotely view, control, and transfer files with computers. That capability is powerful, and this policy exists to make sure it is only ever used with proper authorisation. This policy supplements Section 4 of our Terms of Service.

2. Authorised Use Only

You may only use RemoteAI to access a device if you:

  • Own the device, or
  • Have the explicit, informed consent of the device's owner or the organisation responsible for it (for example, IT support or Quick Support sessions)

Pairing a device (via PIN, QR code, or unattended access password) is treated as evidence of authorisation for that device. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to pair and access any device you connect.

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use RemoteAI to:

  • Access, monitor, or control a device without the owner's knowledge and consent
  • Conduct covert surveillance of any person
  • Install, distribute, or execute malware, ransomware, or other malicious software
  • Exfiltrate data you are not authorised to access
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, RBAC policies, or other access controls, except as permitted under our Security & Responsible Disclosure Policy
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts or devices that are not your own
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable law, including computer-misuse, wiretapping, or data-protection law in your jurisdiction
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as your own offering without written permission

4. Employer / Organisational Use

If you use RemoteAI to access devices belonging to an employer, client, or organisation, you are responsible for complying with that organisation's own policies and any applicable workplace-monitoring or data-protection notice requirements in your jurisdiction (for example, informing employees before monitoring their device, where required by local law).

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations of this policy and may suspend or terminate access for any account found to violate it, consistent with the Termination section of our Terms of Service. Where required by law, we may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

6. Reporting Abuse

If you believe RemoteAI is being used to access your device or data without your authorisation, contact us immediately at abuse@remoteai.pro.
